With your spiritual mind, you may ask isn’t money the root of all evil? NO. That is incorrect. This scripture is commonly misunderstood. The scripture is 1 Timothy 6:10 and it says : The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. (go back and read it again) That means you love money so much that you’d do anything to get it.
You would steal for it, you would kill for it, do illegal things to obtain it, and you love money more than God. These people that love money more than God, the bible says your riches are corrupt and it’s like putting your money in a bag with holes in it. (Yikes)
For the Body of Christ Psalm 1:3 says, “you shall be as tree planted by the rivers of water, which bringeth forth fruit in it’s season and whose leaf does not wither and whatever you do shall prosper!” Of all things that the bible tells us in Deuteronomy 8:18 it says, “Beloved I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.” Which means he doesn’t want you to just be a big ignorant person with money he wants your soul to prosper as well. Prosperity doesn’t just mean money. It means Wholeness! He wants you successful in every area of your life!
Money management tips.
1. Start where you are. With an eye toward the future. Will you be able to retire comfortably? Do your research on investing. Make an appointment with an investment counselor. Talk about your plans for the future and how you can go about achieving them.
4. Weigh your options, stocks bonds, mutual funds etc.. are not the only ways to invest. Real estate is still the oldest way to accumulate wealth and the wisest investment up, up, up. You may want to invest in flipping houses, or rental income.
