How to reduce your Stress Levels

Is there nothing we can do about the amount of stress in our everyday lives?  The bills  don’t stop coming, there will never be more hours in a day, and your work and family responsibilities will always be demanding.  There are other stresses following major life events such as changing jobs, moving,  problems with children, and losing a loved one.

The good news is you have a lot more control than you think.  Stress management is all about taking charge: of your lifestyle, your health, thoughts and emotions, and the way you deal with problems.  No matter how stressful your life seems there are  steps you can take to relieve the pressure and regain control.

Smart tip of the day:

#1  Do surround yourself with positive uplifting people who make you laugh and have positive things to say.  Dump that toxic Debbie downer person who wallows in their own misery thus bringing you down as well .  Life is full of enough trouble without someone bringing us down, especially someone we call a friend.  We all know or have known someone like this.  Negative people have an impact on us whether we realize it or not.

#2  By all means build your spirit with prayer, and spending time with God.  Pick a favorite scripture that uplifts you in times of stress.  One of my favorites is: Philippians 3:13, “Forgetting what lies behind and pressing on to those things which are ahead!”  Press on Woman on God!!!
